Year 10 Work Experience 2026

150 students attended their first work experience placement supported by 140 individual employers in Term 2 this year. Many were successful in gaining either part time or casual work.

Students experience their first experience of the real world of work develop competencies in the core skills for work enhancing an understanding of the link between school studies and work, become more confident motivated and show initiative.

They are networking, meeting new people and making new friends. Their communication skills improve and students show enthusiasm at school to achieve new goals.

We would like to say a huge thank you to our parents, businesses, and supervisors for their support of our program assisting our students in developing career pathways and offering experience in real workplaces in preparation for the transition from school to work.

Work experience builds your resume and opens more opportunities for TAFE applications. In Term 4 Year 10 students will have an opportunity to complete another week of work experience.
