Senator Payman visits Politics and Law students 

Our Year 11 ATAR Politics and Law class were lucky to be visited by Senator Fatima Payman on the afternoon of Tuesday 12 August 2025. 

Senator Payman described her motivation behind entering politics and how she is channelling that motivation into action by promoting youth participation and engagement in government. 

She also provided her first-hand knowledge and experience of how individuals, independent members of parliament, and minor parties can influence government policy, as well as the importance of civics education to enable all voters to make informed choices about the issues important to them. 

We thank Senator Payman for sharing her time, passion and enthusiasm with us.
