Celebrating the Noongar Six Seasons

Our Year 7 Art class has created a vibrant collaborative artwork using acrylic paint and hand coloured collage papers.

Six groups each produced a 40cm x 45cm panel based on the Noongar Six Seasons, later joined to form a 2.4M artwork featuring the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River) winding across every panel to connect them, just as the river connects Country.

This project strengthened teamwork, creativity and cultural responsiveness, and will be proudly displayed in the JFSC Principal’s office.
