PETA VERCO’S DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO CRICKET RECOGNISED

Peta Verco, Specialist Cricket Program Teacher, has recently been awarded Honorary Life Membership of the MCC (Marylebone Cricket Club) for her long and distinguished service to the game of Cricket.

This is a very rare and special honour.  The MCC is based at Lord's (often referred to as the Home of Cricket) in London and for 240 years has overseen the laws of the game.  Australian Honorary Life Members include Chappell, Border, Waugh, Gilchrist and Ponting) and only five other women have ever been given this honour.

Congratulations go to Peta from the college community.
